Preservation Architect
A well-established architecture firm in Dickirch is seeking a Preservation Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for historical preservation and be experienced in the restoration and conservation of historic buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and assessments of historic buildings to determine their significance and preservation needs
- Develop plans for the repair, restoration, rehabilitation, and adaptive reuse of historic structures
- Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with local, state, and federal preservation standards and guidelines
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other professionals to ensure successful completion of projects
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for preservation projects
- Monitor construction progress to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in historic preservation or conservation
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other architectural design software
- Strong knowledge of historic construction methods, materials, and techniques
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month along with accommodation. This is a contract position with opportunities for long-term employment. We also provide free visa sponsorship and travel ticket.
