A growing IT company in Vianden is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's databases, ensuring their security, availability, and performance.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain databases to meet the evolving needs of our company
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Develop backup and recovery plans to ensure data integrity
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure seamless integration of databases with applications
- Identify and implement security measures to protect sensitive data
- Regularly review and update database structures to improve efficiency
- Provide technical support for database-related issues
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in database technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Database Administrator
- Proficient in SQL programming and database management tools (e.g. MySQL, Oracle)
- Strong understanding of database architecture, data modeling, and data warehousing principles
- Knowledge of database security protocols and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of other languages is a plus

Salary:
