As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations and culinary excellence of our restaurant in Almada. We are seeking a passionate and creative individual with a strong culinary background, who can lead our team to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and develop menu items that reflect our restaurant's concept and vision
- Ensure high quality of food preparation and presentation, while maintaining consistency and cost control
- Train, coach, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain a high level of performance
- Monitor food inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Create schedules for kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized kitchen environment according to health and safety standards
- Collaborate with other departments such as front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Stay updated on industry trends, new techniques, and ingredients to continuously improve the menu

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Creativity in developing unique dishes while keeping up with food trends
- Ability to manage food costs while maintaining high quality standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well under pressure
- Flexibility in working hours including weekends and holidays

Preference will be given to candidates with formal culinary education or certification. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1600$ per month. Please note that accommodation is not provided for this position.
