Preservation Architect


As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures in Aalborg. You will use your knowledge of architectural history and preservation techniques to assess the condition of buildings, develop restoration plans, and oversee the implementation of these plans. Your work will involve collaborating with clients, contractors, and local authorities to ensure that all restoration projects are carried out according to preservation standards. You may also be involved in researching historical architecture and contributing to the development of preservation policies.

To excel in this role, you should have a degree in Architecture or a related field, with a specialization in historic preservation. Previous experience working on preservation projects is preferred. You should have strong technical skills in areas such as building materials, construction techniques, and restoration methods. Excellent communication skills are also essential as you will be working closely with various stakeholders.

This position offers a salary of $1000 per month, along with accommodation. We also provide a free visa and ticket for non-Aalborg nationals who are selected for this role.
