Civil Engineer for Infrastructure Projects in Lisbon, Portugal



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing infrastructure projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and meet all safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, design, and oversee construction of various infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, airports, and water systems
- Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies
- Prepare cost estimates and budgets for projects
- Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with plans and specifications
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
- Manage project schedules and make adjustments as necessary
- Ensure that all work meets safety regulations and quality standards
- Prepare progress reports for clients and senior management
- Provide technical support to junior engineers on the team

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure project management
- Proficient in AutoCAD or other engineering software
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet tight deadlines
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements
