Contract Plumber in Faroe-Islands


We are seeking a skilled and reliable Contract Plumber to join our team in Faroe-Islands. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. This is a contract position, with the potential for extension or full-time employment based on performance.

As a Contract Plumber, you will be expected to have a strong understanding of plumbing systems and techniques, as well as the ability to read blueprints and follow building codes. You will also need to have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install new plumbing systems in accordance with building codes
- Diagnose and repair issues with existing plumbing systems
- Perform regular maintenance on plumbing fixtures
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine layout of plumbing systems
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide recommendations

Requirements:
- Valid biometric passport (or the ability to obtain one)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a plumber (preferred)
- Excellent understanding of plumbing techniques and concepts
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Good communication skills

Salary:
The salary for this contract position is 1500$ per month.

Location:
This job is based in Faroe-Islands, a beautiful island nation located between Norway and Iceland. While knowledge of Faroese language is preferred, it is not required as most locals speak English fluently.
