Waiter/Waitress


We are a busy restaurant located in the heart of Aarhus and we are seeking experienced and dedicated waiters/waitresses to join our team. As a waiter/waitress, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring that their dining experience is enjoyable.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and timely manner
- Take orders, serve food and drinks, and attend to any special requests or dietary restrictions
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area
- Process payments accurately and efficiently
- Assist with setting up and breaking down tables before and after service
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure prompt delivery of food
- Provide recommendations on menu items based on knowledge of ingredients, preparation methods, and customer preferences
- Upsell additional items such as desserts or specialty drinks
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- Handle any guest complaints or concerns in a professional manner

Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a waiter/waitress in a high-volume restaurant
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well under pressure
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage menus, including wine pairings
- Ability to memorize menu items, daily specials, and ingredients for dietary restrictions/allergies
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must have legal authorization to work in Aarhus

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per month plus tips. Tips are distributed evenly among all front-of-house staff.
