Entry-Level Welder


We are currently hiring an Entry-Level Welder to join our team in Nakuru. As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing welding and fabrication tasks in accordance with company standards and safety regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to start their career in welding and gain valuable hands-on experience.

Responsibilities:
- Perform welding tasks using various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and ARC
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Measure and cut materials using appropriate tools
- Ensure all welded parts meet quality standards and specifications
- Operate welding equipment safely and maintain it as needed
- Adhere to all safety regulations and practices

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a vocational training program in welding preferred
- Basic knowledge of welding techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and measurements accurately
- Physically capable of standing for long periods, bending, lifting heavy materials
- Excellent hand-eye coordination

Preferred:
- Previous experience in a similar role or completed an internship/apprenticeship program
- Basic understanding of welding symbols and codes
