Welder - Contract Position in Nakuru, Kenya for Indian Nationals



We are in search of a skilled and experienced Welder to join our team on a contract basis in Nakuru, Kenya. As a Welder, you will be responsible for using specialized equipment to weld and assemble metal parts according to blueprints and specifications. The ideal candidate should have previous welding experience, preferably in a construction or manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications
- Set up welding equipment according to job requirements
- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
- Weld metal parts using various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards
- Repair any defects or imperfections in welds as needed
- Maintain clean and safe work environment by following safety procedures

Requirements:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Welder
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and welding specifications
- Knowledge of various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick)
- Ability to operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
- Familiarity with safety procedures and guidelines for operating welding equipment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
- Indian nationality preferred

Salary:

This is a contract position with a salary of 1500$ per month.
