Loader Operator


We are hiring a skilled Loader Operator to join our team in Almada. As a Loader Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment such as loaders to load and move materials on construction sites or in other settings. This is a hands-on role that requires physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:
- Operate loaders to load and move materials, including dirt, gravel, rocks, sand, and other materials.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and ensure that materials are loaded and moved according to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on loaders, such as checking fluid levels and replacing worn parts.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or excesses to supervisors.
- Comply with safety protocols at all times.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating loaders in a construction or similar setting.
- Ability to read instructions and follow directions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify potential hazards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1000 per month. This is a full-time position with regular working hours. Overtime may be required depending on workload.

Location:
This position is based in Almada. Candidates who live nearby or are willing to relocate are preferred.
