Dishwasher - Seasonal (Svalbard)



We are searching for a hardworking and reliable Dishwasher to join our team at a seasonal restaurant in Svalbard. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishware, utensils, and cooking equipment in the kitchen.

Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans using dishwasher or by hand
- Ensure all dishes are properly cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of work area including floors, walls, and countertops
- Stock clean dishes and utensils for kitchen staff to use
- Assist with basic food prep tasks as needed
- Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of waste
- Work quickly and efficiently to keep up with the fast-paced environment of a restaurant kitchen

Requirements:
- No previous experience required; on-the-job training will be provided
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physically able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
