We are hiring a Database Administrator to join our team in Porto. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining our company's databases and ensuring their efficiency and security. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1800$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Design and implement database structures and systems
- Ensure data security and integrity by creating backups, implementing disaster recovery procedures, and performing regular audits
- Collaborate with software developers to integrate new applications into the database systems
- Train users on how to properly access and use the databases

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of database management systems such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server
- Familiarity with data backup, recovery, and security protocols
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with cloud-based databases such as AWS or Azure
- Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Python, or Java
