Information Security Analyst

As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our company's information systems and data. This role requires a strong understanding of security protocols, risk assessment, and vulnerability management. You will work closely with our IT team to identify and mitigate potential threats, troubleshoot security issues, and implement security measures to protect our systems.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential threats
- Monitor network activity for any suspicious behavior or unauthorized access
- Investigate security breaches and provide recommendations for remediation
- Develop and maintain security policies and procedures
- Train employees on best practices for information security
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies in information security
- Collaborate with IT team to implement security solutions such as firewalls, encryption tools, and intrusion detection systems
- Test and evaluate new technology for potential vulnerabilities
- Respond to any security incidents in a timely manner

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in information security
- Strong understanding of network protocols and architecture
- Knowledge of risk assessment tools and methodologies
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus or Qualys
- Familiarity with common operating systems (Windows, Linux)
and virtualization technologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Certifications such as CISSP or CISM are preferred
