Cashier for Retail Store in Al Buraymi


We are a retail store in Al Buraymi seeking a reliable and customer-oriented cashier to join our team. As a cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter the store and assist them with any inquiries
- Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately
- Maintain accurate cash drawer and perform daily reconciliation
- Handle exchanges and returns according to store policies
- Keep checkout area clean and organized at all times
- Assist with restocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any issues or concerns promptly
- Follow all safety and security procedures to ensure a safe shopping environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of cashier experience in a retail setting preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash accurately
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Fluent in English with good communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
