Truck Driver for Contract Work in Malindi


We are hiring a skilled and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team in Malindi. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a truck to transport goods and materials to various locations. This is a contract position with opportunities for extension.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a truck to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Plan routes and follow delivery schedules
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Inspect trucks before and after trips, reporting any mechanical or safety issues
- Follow traffic laws and maintain safe driving practices at all times
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, etc.
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers as needed
- Adhere to company policies and procedures

Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a truck driver (experience in transportation or logistics preferred)
- Clean driving record with no accidents or violations
- Knowledge of road safety regulations
- Ability to safely operate heavy vehicles in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills (English proficiency preferred)
- Must be able to work on a contract basis without accommodation provided
- Preference for candidates from Pakistan or Nepal with valid work visas

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1700 per month for this contract position.
