Interpreter - Danish/English


As an Interpreter for our company in Copenhagen, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between Danish and English speakers. You will use your fluency in both languages to accurately interpret conversations, presentations, and documents. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and cultural sensitivity to ensure effective communication between parties.

Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between Danish and English speakers by interpreting conversations, presentations, and documents
- Accurately convey the tone and meaning of spoken or written words in both languages
- Provide simultaneous or consecutive interpretation during meetings, conferences, or other events
- Research and understand specialized terminology related to specific industries or topics
- Maintain confidentiality and neutrality in all communications
- Clarify any misunderstandings or errors in translation to ensure accurate communication
- Assist with any additional administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:
- Fluency in both Danish and English (written and verbal)
- Strong knowledge of grammar rules and vocabulary for both languages
- Excellent listening skills with the ability to accurately interpret complex information
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
- Cultural sensitivity and awareness of nonverbal cues and gestures
- Strong research skills to understand specialized terminology
- Proven experience as an interpreter is preferred but not required
(on-the-job training will be provided)

Salary:
This position offers a competitive salary of $1200 per month.
