Part-time Interpreter in Faroe Islands

We are seeking a part-time interpreter to join our team in Faroe Islands. As an interpreter, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between individuals who speak different languages. Your role will be crucial in ensuring effective communication and understanding between clients and service providers.

Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services during meetings, conferences, and other events
- Accurately convey messages between parties in their respective languages
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times
- Familiarize yourself with specialized vocabulary used in various industries
- Ensure cultural sensitivity and understanding during interactions
- Take notes or provide written translations as needed
- Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times

Requirements:
- Fluent in English and at least one other language (preferably Faroese)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and work under tight deadlines
- Strong understanding of cultural differences and the ability to adapt accordingly
- Previous experience as an interpreter is preferred but not required
- Must have your own visa to work in Faroe Islands

Salary:
This is a part-time position with a salary of $1400 per month.
