Preservation Architect
A prestigious architecture firm in St. Petersburg is seeking a talented and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team. As a Preservation Architect, you will have the opportunity to work on historic preservation projects, restoring and preserving some of the city's most iconic buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on the history and architectural significance of buildings
- Develop preservation plans and strategies for historic structures
- Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for restoration projects
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure preservation goals are met
- Oversee construction progress and provide guidance as needed
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders regarding project updates and progress
- Stay up-to-date on preservation practices, techniques, and regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in historic preservation projects
- Knowledge of local historic preservation laws and regulations
- Strong design skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $1000 per month. We also offer opportunities for professional development and growth within our firm.
