Executive Chef
We are in search of a skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a prestigious restaurant in Eschen. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating exceptional dishes, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work under pressure. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a high level of organization.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and plating
- Train and manage kitchen staff, ensuring quality and consistency in all dishes
- Develop new menu items based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Monitor food costs and make adjustments as needed to maintain profitability
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a reputable restaurant
- Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff effectively
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary: 1000$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Eschen (accommodation provided if needed)
