Information Security Analyst

As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our company's data and information systems. You will use your expertise in cybersecurity to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities, implement security measures to protect against them, and monitor our systems for any suspicious activity. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure that our systems are up-to-date with the latest security protocols and that any issues or breaches are promptly addressed. Additionally, you may be required to conduct risk assessments, develop security policies and procedures, and provide training to employees on best practices for information security. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network security, encryption methods, and risk management strategies. Experience in information technology or a related field is preferred, but not required.

Salary: $1100 per month

Location: Vianden, Luxembourg (candidates from other locations will also be considered)

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
- Experience with network security tools such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems
- Familiarity with encryption methods and data protection techniques
- Strong analytical skills to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop security policies
- Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements (e.g. GDPR)
- Fluent in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
- Available for occasional on-call duties
