We are in search of a skilled Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team and oversee the culinary operations of our fine dining restaurant in Utena, Kenya. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing innovative menus, managing food costs, and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation. You will also be responsible for training and supervising kitchen staff, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Ability to create unique menu items while maintaining consistency with brand standards
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:
- Create innovative menus that showcase local ingredients while catering to different dietary restrictions
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including portion control, plating techniques, and presentation
- Monitor food costs by sourcing quality ingredients at competitive prices
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, sanitation practices, and safety standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with the management team on special events or promotions
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
