Smelter Operator

As a Smelter Operator, you will play an integral role in the production process of metal and mineral products. You will be responsible for operating and monitoring smelting equipment, ensuring the quality and quantity of products produced meet company standards. Your daily tasks will include setting up and adjusting equipment, monitoring temperatures and flow rates, troubleshooting any issues that arise, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. You will also be required to conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify any potential issues or maintenance needs. The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience working in a smelter or similar industrial environment, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work well under pressure. Physical stamina is also important as this role may involve standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy materials. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1400 per month in the city of Nakuru. English proficiency is preferred but not required for this role.
