Plasterer


As a Plasterer, you will be responsible for applying plaster and other materials to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces in order to create a smooth and even finish. You will work on a variety of projects, from residential homes to commercial buildings, ensuring that the final product is visually appealing and meets the required standards.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for plastering by cleaning, sanding, and filling any holes or cracks
- Measure and mix plaster according to specific ratios
- Apply plaster using various tools such as trowels and floats
- Create decorative finishes by using techniques such as stenciling or texturing
- Smooth out rough spots and ensure an even surface
- Install insulation or vapor barriers when necessary
- Work with different types of plaster including lime, cement, or synthetic materials
- Follow safety protocols to protect yourself and others on the job site

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Plasterer or similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Knowledge of various plastering techniques and materials
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and carry heavy equipment/materials
- Attention to detail with an eye for perfection
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, candidates with the following qualifications will be given preference:
- Certification in Plastering or related field from a recognized institution
- Experience working with both traditional and modern methods of plastering
- Familiarity with building codes and regulations
- Ability to work independently without supervision

Salary: $1000 per month

City: Faroe Islands (candidates must have valid work permit)
