We are seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to join our team in Aalborg, Denmark. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious pastries and desserts for our restaurant. Your main duties will include preparing doughs, batters, fillings, and icings, as well as decorating and presenting the final products. You will also be responsible for maintaining inventory and ensuring food safety standards are met. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a professional kitchen and be able to work well under pressure. Salary: 1800$ per month

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Pastry Chef in a professional kitchen
- Culinary degree or certification preferred
- Extensive knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and create new recipes
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and creativity
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Fluent in English (Danish language skills preferred)

Responsibilities:
- Prepare doughs, batters, fillings, and icings according to recipes
- Create new pastry items that align with our menu theme and style
- Decorate pastries using various techniques such as piping, glazing, and garnishing
- Ensure all pastries are presented beautifully and meet our quality standards
- Maintain inventory of pastry ingredients and supplies
- Monitor food costs by minimizing waste
- Follow proper food safety procedures at all times
- Train new pastry staff members
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff members to ensure smooth service
- Keep work station clean and organized
