IT Manager


We are in search of an experienced and skilled IT Manager to join our team in Funchal. As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the technology infrastructure of our company, implementing and maintaining systems and ensuring that all IT operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information technology, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for innovation.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies for efficient and effective use of technology.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all hardware and software systems.
- Manage the IT budget and ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented.
- Keep up-to-date with new technology trends and make recommendations for their integration into the company's systems.
- Provide technical support to all employees.
- Ensure data security measures are implemented and maintained.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify their technology needs and find solutions.
- Train employees on new systems or software as needed.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in an IT management role.
- Strong knowledge of network administration, database management, and system security.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Experience managing budgets and implementing cost-saving measures.
- Proven problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to changing technologies.

Salary: 1800$ per month

Location: Funchal (accommodation provided if needed)

Visa: Must have own valid visa for working in Portugal
