Preservation Architect



We are seeking a talented Preservation Architect to join our team in Roskilde, Denmark. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures, ensuring their long-term sustainability and functionality. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1100$ per week.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures to determine preservation needs
- Develop preservation plans and strategies in accordance with local regulations and guidelines
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to implement preservation projects
- Manage project budgets and timelines to ensure successful completion
- Conduct research on historical building materials, construction techniques, and architectural styles
- Document all preservation work for future reference and educational purposes

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Preservation Architect
- Strong knowledge of preservation principles, techniques, and regulations
- Experience working with historic buildings and structures is preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other architectural software is required
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
