Agronomist

The position of Agronomist in Abu Dhabi is a highly sought-after role for individuals with a passion for agriculture and plant science. As an Agronomist, you will be responsible for conducting research, analyzing data, and providing recommendations to improve crop yields and quality. This role requires a strong understanding of agronomy principles and techniques, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with farmers and other agribusiness professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field trials to test different farming techniques and products
- Analyze soil samples and make recommendations for fertilizers and other inputs
- Monitor crop growth and health, identifying any potential issues or diseases
- Collaborate with farmers to develop sustainable farming practices
- Stay updated on new technologies and advancements in the field of agronomy
- Provide technical support to farmers regarding soil management, pest control, irrigation, etc.
- Create reports and presentations to share research findings with stakeholders

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agronomy or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
- Experience working with different crops in diverse environments
- Strong knowledge of plant genetics, soil science, and crop management techniques
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
- Willingness to travel within Abu Dhabi as needed

Salary:
This position offers a salary of $1200 per month.

Location:
This job is located in Abu Dhabi, UAE. However, candidates from Egypt or other countries are welcome to apply.

Type:
This is a contract job with the possibility of extension based on performance.
