Barber - Hair Stylist

As a Barber-Hair Stylist, you will use your skills and creativity to provide professional hair services to our clients. You will be responsible for cutting, styling, and coloring hair as per the client's preferences and needs. Your duties will also include maintaining a clean and organized work station, sterilizing tools, and ensuring client satisfaction.

We are looking for someone with a passion for hair styling and excellent customer service skills. The ideal candidate should have experience in cutting and styling different types of hair, including men's and women's hair. A strong knowledge of current trends and techniques is also preferred.

This is a contract job with the possibility of extension based on performance. Accommodation will be provided for non-local candidates if required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet clients in a friendly manner and consult with them to understand their hair needs
- Cut, trim, and style hair using appropriate techniques
- Color, highlight or bleach hair according to client's desires
- Provide scalp treatments and massages as needed
- Keep track of inventory and order supplies when needed
- Maintain a clean work station by sanitizing tools after each use
- Educate clients on proper hair care techniques
- Ensure client satisfaction by addressing any concerns or complaints

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a barber or hairstylist
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of current trends, products, and techniques in the industry
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail while maintaining efficiency
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Preferred:
- Cosmetology license
- Experience working with diverse clientele
