Junior DevOps Developer

We are hiring a Junior DevOps Developer to join our growing team in Almada. In this role, you will work with experienced DevOps developers to design, develop, and maintain our cloud infrastructure and deployment processes. You will also collaborate with software development teams to identify and implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency and reliability.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing, building, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure
- Work with the software development teams to identify areas for automation and implement solutions
- Develop and maintain deployment processes for both internal and external applications
- Troubleshoot issues with the cloud infrastructure and resolve them in a timely manner
- Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to DevOps

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems administration
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible or Puppet
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Bash or Python
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment

Preferred:
- Previous experience working as a DevOps developer or in a similar role
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git

Salary:
1300$ per month.

Location:
This position is located in Almada, Portugal. However, remote work options may be available for candidates based elsewhere.
