Part-Time Web Developer in Almada, Portugal
We are a growing digital marketing agency based in Almada, Portugal and we are looking for a skilled and experienced Part-Time Web Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining websites for our clients. You will work closely with our design and content teams to ensure that our websites are visually appealing, user-friendly, and optimized for search engines.
Responsibilities:
- Develop functional and visually appealing websites according to client specifications
- Collaborate with design and content teams to ensure website design is aligned with client branding
- Troubleshoot website issues and implement solutions in a timely manner
- Conduct regular website maintenance including updates, backups, and security measures
- Optimize websites for search engines using SEO techniques
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in web development
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Web Developer
- Proficiency in HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Drupal
- Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify or WooCommerce
- Familiarity with graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator
This is a part-time position with the potential for full-time employment based on performance. Our office is located in the beautiful city of Almada, but remote work may also be considered. We offer competitive compensation of 1300$ per month.
