Entry-Level Information Security Analyst


We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Information Security Analyst to join our growing team in Beer-Sheva. As an Information Security Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of our company's sensitive information and systems. Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security logs and events to identify potential threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and vulnerabilities
- Assist with incident response, including investigation, containment, and remediation
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure compliance with industry regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Knowledge of web application security concepts such as OWASP Top 10
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 27001/27002, NIST CSF, or PCI DSS
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Preferred:
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g. Splunk, ArcSight)
- Understanding of cloud security concepts (e.g. AWS, Azure)

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is 1600$ per month.

Location:
This position is located in Beer-Sheva. However, we offer opportunities for remote work for candidates who have their own visa or are eligible to work in Israel.
