Smelter Supervisor

As a Smelter Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation of the smelting process at our facility in Nairobi. You will ensure that all safety protocols are followed and that production targets are met. Your role will also involve training and supervising a team of smelter operators, as well as monitoring and maintaining equipment and materials.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the smelting process, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed
- Monitor production targets and make adjustments as needed
- Train and supervise a team of smelter operators
- Maintain equipment and materials to ensure efficient operation
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the smelting process
- Keep accurate records of production and equipment maintenance
- Communicate with other departments to coordinate production schedules

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a smelting facility
- Previous experience in a supervisory role preferred
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to smelting operations
- Ability to train and lead a team effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Fluent in English (knowledge of other languages is an asset)
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary

Salary:
$900 per month (negotiable based on experience)
