Location: Kolding, Denmark



Our architecture firm is seeking a skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in Kolding, Denmark. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures, while maintaining their original character and integrity.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on historical buildings and structures to understand their original design, materials, and construction techniques
- Develop preservation plans and strategies for the restoration of historic buildings
- Prepare drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for preservation projects
- Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to ensure the structural stability of historic buildings
- Oversee construction activities to ensure that preservation standards are met
- Identify potential risks and challenges during the restoration process and develop solutions to mitigate them
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and government agencies to obtain necessary approvals for preservation projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in preservation architecture or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of historical architecture styles, materials, and construction techniques
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other architectural software
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1700$ per month.
