Senior Level Biometric Passport Developer

As a Senior Level Biometric Passport Developer, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of biometric passport systems for our company in Faroe-Islands. Your primary role will be to design, develop, and test biometric passport software solutions that meet the needs of our customers. You will work closely with a team of developers to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products that comply with international standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain biometric passport software solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and create technical specifications
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
- Test and debug software to ensure functionality and reliability
- Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolutions
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in biometric technology
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a software developer, preferably in the biometrics industry
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
- Experience with biometric technologies such as fingerprint recognition, facial recognition, or iris scanning
- Familiarity with database management systems and SQL
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience developing biometric passport systems specifically for government agencies or airports
Salary: $1300 per month
Location: Faroe Islands (open to all nationalities)
