Office Assistant - Sharjah, UAE
We are hiring an Office Assistant in Sharjah, UAE to join our team. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for performing various administrative and clerical tasks to support our office operations. The ideal candidate should have experience working in a similar role and be fluent in English.
Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Answer and redirect phone calls and take messages when necessary
- Maintain office supplies and equipment inventory
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, letters, and forms
- Perform data entry tasks as needed
- Keep track of office expenses and manage petty cash
- Assist with organizing company events and meetings
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an office assistant or in a similar role
- Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
Salary: 1000$ per month
