Preservation Architect - Utena, Lithuania
We are hiring a Preservation Architect to join our team in Utena, Lithuania. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures. Your main task will be to develop plans for the restoration of these structures, taking into consideration their historical significance and current condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting on-site assessments of historical buildings and structures
- Creating detailed reports on the condition of these structures
- Developing restoration plans that adhere to local preservation regulations and standards
- Overseeing restoration projects and ensuring they are carried out according to the plans
- Collaborating with other architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure successful completion of projects
- Conducting research on the history and architectural significance of the structures being restored
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as an architect, preferably with experience in preservation/restoration projects
- Strong understanding of local preservation regulations and standards
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other architectural software programs
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Salary: This is a contract position with a salary of $1100 per month.
Accommodation: Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract.
