Hotel Sales Manager

We are a prestigious hotel located in the beautiful city of Bergen, seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team. This is a contract position with a competitive salary of 1100$ per month, and accommodation will be provided.

As a Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to maximize revenue and profit for the hotel. You will also be in charge of managing the sales team, setting sales targets, and negotiating deals with clients.

The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in hotel sales, preferably in a luxury hotel setting. You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as strong leadership abilities. A proven track record of achieving sales targets is also required for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase revenue and profit
- Manage the sales team, providing guidance and support to ensure they reach their targets
- Identify potential clients and negotiate deals to secure new business
- Maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies
- Collaborate with other departments such as marketing and operations to support overall business goals

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in hotel sales, preferably in a luxury hotel environment
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team towards achieving goals
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively
