Hotel Sales Manager
The Hotel Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to increase revenue for our hotel in Bergen. This position requires a highly motivated individual with excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as a strong understanding of the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in hotel sales and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to attract corporate clients, group bookings, and other revenue-generating opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with existing clients, as well as identify and pursue new potential clients
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth execution of events and bookings
- Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to stay ahead in the market
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and budgets
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other networking events to promote the hotel
- Train and motivate the sales team to achieve targets
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in hotel sales or related field
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze market trends
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and experience working with CRM software
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Willingness to travel for business purposes
