Architectural Designer
As an Architectural Designer, you will be responsible for creating and designing innovative and functional architectural plans for various projects in Copenhagen. Your role will involve collaborating with clients, engineers, and other team members to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and within budget. You must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of architecture, with a strong understanding of design principles and building codes. This is a contract position with a salary of 1300$ per week. Accommodation will be provided as part of the contract. We welcome applications from all qualified individuals regardless of gender.
Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and practical architectural designs based on client requirements
- Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project feasibility
- Collaborate with project team members to develop detailed construction plans
- Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to designs
- Present design proposals to clients for approval
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Architectural Designer
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design software
- Strong understanding of design principles, building codes, and construction processes
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on projects in Copenhagen or Scandinavian countries
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) software
Working Conditions:
This is a contract position based in Copenhagen. The working hours are typically Monday-Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. Accommodation will be provided as part of the contract. As an Architectural Designer, you may be required to travel occasionally for site visits or client meetings.
