We are seeking a talented and driven Merchandiser to join our team in Salalah. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for creating and implementing strategies to maximize sales and profit margins. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to analyze market trends and customer behavior, and use this information to develop effective merchandising plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of retail operations, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating visually appealing displays that drive sales. As a Merchandiser, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing effective merchandising strategies that align with company goals
- Collaborating with the sales team to identify customer needs and preferences
- Analyzing market trends and using insights to make data-driven decisions
- Creating visually appealing displays that showcase products in an attractive manner
- Managing inventory levels and ensuring timely restocking of products
- Negotiating with suppliers to secure competitive pricing for products
- Conducting regular store visits to monitor product placement and display effectiveness
- Training store staff on merchandising best practices and providing support when needed
- Staying updated on industry trends and competitor activities

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in retail merchandising or visual merchandising
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations based on insights
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
