Claims Adjuster
A reputable insurance company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Claims Adjuster to join our team in Malindi. As a Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for investigating and evaluating insurance claims, determining coverage and liability, negotiating settlements, and providing excellent customer service to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough investigations of insurance claims to determine the extent of coverage and liability
- Analyze claim information and relevant documents to make accurate decisions on settlement offers
- Negotiate settlements with claimants, attorneys, and other parties involved in the claims process
- Communicate with clients, policyholders, and other parties to provide updates on claim status and answer any questions or concerns
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of all claim activities
- Collaborate with internal departments such as underwriting, legal, and accounting to ensure timely resolution of claims
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices for claims handling
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Claims Adjuster in the insurance industry
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships
- Proficient in using computer programs for data analysis and documentation purposes
