Junior Python Developer in Faro, Portugal
As a Junior Python Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications using the Python programming language. You will work closely with a team of experienced developers to design, develop, test, and deploy new features and enhancements. This role is suitable for recent graduates or individuals with little to no experience in Python development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write efficient, reusable, and reliable code in Python
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions
- Participate in code reviews and contribute ideas for improvements
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
- Knowledge of web development frameworks such as Django or Flask
- Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Enthusiasm for learning new technologies
Preferred:
- Experience working with databases (SQL or NoSQL)
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Salary: $900 per month (negotiable based on experience)
