Indian Mason in Malindi, Kenya


We are seeking an experienced Indian Mason to join our team in Malindi, Kenya. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining buildings and structures using various materials such as bricks, concrete blocks, and stones.

Responsibilities:
- Lay out and plan construction projects according to blueprints and specifications
- Cut or break bricks, stones or blocks to required size using chisels, hammers or power saws
- Mix mortar or grout and spread it on the foundation of the structure using trowels
- Set bricks or stones in place and apply mortar between joints for a strong bond
- Use specialized tools such as levels and plumb lines to ensure accuracy in construction
- Repair cracked or damaged areas of existing structures by removing damaged materials and replacing with new ones
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe work environment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mason preferably within the construction industry
- Extensive knowledge of various masonry techniques and materials
- Ability to read blueprints and follow construction plans
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills

Salary:
This position offers a salary of $1000 per month.
