Construction Project Manager
As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and construction of various projects in the city of Esbjerg. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your duties will include developing project schedules and budgets, obtaining necessary permits and approvals, managing subcontractors and suppliers, and coordinating all aspects of construction. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining positive relationships with clients. Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
- Prior experience in construction management or related role preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction best practices
- Proficient in project management software
- Valid driver's license
Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee the construction process from start to finish
- Develop project schedules and budgets
- Obtain necessary permits and approvals from local authorities
- Hire subcontractors and manage their work on site
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders involved in the project
- Monitor progress of construction activities to ensure they are completed on time and within budget
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations on site at all times
- Address any issues or delays that may arise during the construction process
- Maintain positive relationships with clients by providing regular updates on project status
- Conduct final inspections to ensure quality standards are met before project completion
