We are hiring an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Svalbard, Norway. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instrumentation and control systems used in industrial settings. This is a contract job suitable for men who have their own visa to work in Norway.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, and maintain various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, thermometers, flow meters, and level sensors.
- Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation and control systems to ensure proper functioning.
- Perform preventive maintenance to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
- Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
- Collaborate with other technicians to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities and report any issues or concerns to the supervisor.
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role.
- Knowledge of electrical wiring, circuits, and basic electronics principles.
- Familiarity with different types of instrumentation equipment such as transmitters, controllers, valves, etc.
- Ability to read technical manuals and follow instructions accurately.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1700 per month.
