Experienced Pastry Chef
We are seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to join our team in Clairvaux. As a skilled and creative professional, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods for our customers. You should have a passion for pastry making and be able to work independently while also collaborating with our kitchen team.
Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare various pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to recipes and standards
- Ensure high-quality presentation of all products
- Develop new recipes or modify existing ones to meet customer preferences or dietary restrictions
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of ingredients and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen
- Train, supervise, and manage pastry assistants or apprentices
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a fast-paced environment
- Extensive knowledge of different pastry techniques, ingredients, equipment, and sanitation standards
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Creativity in recipe development and presentation of pastries
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Fluent in English (knowledge of Malayalee or Egyptian cuisine is a plus)
Salary: $1500/month (salary may vary depending on experience)
