Land Surveyor Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Land Surveyor Assistant to join our team in Os, Norway. As a Land Surveyor Assistant, you will assist the lead surveyor in conducting land surveys for various projects. This is a part-time position with a salary of $1600 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead surveyor in conducting land surveys using various tools and equipment
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of survey data
- Help set up and operate survey instruments such as total stations and GPS receivers
- Assist in identifying and measuring boundaries, elevations, distances, angles, and other key features on land surfaces
- Conduct research and gather information on properties to assist with surveys
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and efficient completion of projects

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (degree in land surveying preferred)
- Previous experience in land surveying is not required but preferred
- Knowledge of basic surveying techniques and equipment
- Proficient in using computer software related to land surveying (AutoCAD, GIS)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record data
- Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain
- Must be able to communicate effectively with team members
