As a Librarian, you will play a crucial role in providing access to information and knowledge to the community of Esbjerg, Denmark. Your main responsibilities will include organizing and managing the library's collection of books, periodicals, and digital resources; assisting patrons with research and reference inquiries; and developing programming and events to promote literacy and learning.

Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
- Strong knowledge of library systems and cataloging methods
- Excellent communication skills for assisting patrons with research inquiries
- Ability to organize and manage a large collection of resources
- Creative mindset for developing engaging programming and events
- Fluency in Danish (preferred) or English

Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain the library's collection of books, periodicals, and digital resources.
- Develop policies and procedures for cataloging materials according to professional standards.
- Assist patrons with research inquiries by providing guidance on search strategies.
- Plan and execute programming and events to promote literacy, learning, and community engagement.
- Keep up-to-date with current trends in library services, technology, and information management.
- Collaborate with other librarians to share resources and best practices.
- Maintain the physical organization of the library by shelving materials, arranging displays, etc.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting patrons with checking out materials, managing accounts, etc.

Working Conditions:
You will be working at the main public library in Esbjerg. The position is full-time (40 hours per week) with a salary of 1200$ per month. Accommodation can be provided if needed. The ideal candidate will have their own visa or be eligible for a work permit in Denmark.
