We are searching for a highly skilled and experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing machine learning algorithms to analyze and interpret large sets of data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, mathematics, and statistics, as well as experience in machine learning techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing machine learning algorithms to solve complex problems
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions
- Conducting data analysis and working with large datasets
- Applying statistical methods to validate and improve model accuracy
- Communicating results to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in machine learning development
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and statistics
- Experience with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow or Keras
- Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) techniques is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Salary:
This is a contract job with a salary of 1100$ per month. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract.

Location:
The position is located in Funchal, Portugal. Candidates must have a biometric passport or be eligible to obtain one.
