Front Desk Receptionist
A prominent hotel in Al-Rayyan is seeking a skilled Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to multitask and handle a high volume of guests. As the first point of contact for our guests, the Front Desk Receptionist must create a welcoming and professional atmosphere, while also efficiently managing check-ins, check-outs, and room reservations.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in guests in a friendly and efficient manner
- Process payments and maintain accurate records
- Handle guest complaints or issues with professionalism and provide appropriate solutions
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate department
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area at all times
- Monitor room availability and make reservations as needed
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and email correspondence
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality is a plus
- Proven experience working in a front desk or customer service role
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Knowledge of hotel booking systems is preferred but not required
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position that may require working weekends, nights, or holidays. The salary for this position is 1100$ per month. Our hotel values diversity and welcomes candidates of all nationalities who have legal permission to work in Al-Rayyan.
